I first reached out to Darlene when I felt like my entire world was crumbling underneath me. I had known my son was gay for about a year during this time. I had sought out council from others, but no one seemed to understand or comfort me. Darlene and I had a really good talk one night about where to begin. She gave me a lot of good resources, and she had experienced some of things I was going through. She contacted me a few weeks later about a support group called EON moms. I was thrilled! Finally somewhere to go where I would be uplifted, encouraged, and supported by other moms. I love Darlene and her seminars.
